A joint project between the Rotary Club of Scarborough and the City of Stirling, the clocktower was built in 1979 and gifted to the people of Western Australia in commemoration of the State’s 150th Anniversary. At 40 metres tall the tower has three curved, precast sandblasted concrete legs with a pressed stainless steel clockface and also houses a time capsule, due to be opened in 2079.
