Forever Young by Jerome Davenport

Forever Young depicts two people connecting with each other via a simple string telephone. The artwork connects the buildings of the Community Centre and Library through its fun and vibrant design. Artist Statement: ‘The philosophy behind the concept is connectivity and communication through the generations… The artwork includes the flower of life symbol… the physical representation of the connections that we feel to all living things. It is a sacred symbol found in nearly every culture on the planet and is believed to represent the cycle of growth of a fruit tree from the seed to fruit-bearing tree.’
