Don was born in Osborne Park in December 1919 and passed aged 89 years on the 13 August 2009.
He lived in 'Lyall Hall' the family home on Scarborough Beach Road and the family farm was 'Wannerie' on the Moore River. His brother Charles had a farm 'Warren Warren' nearby.
