Susan Respinger created this design with the intention of reminding the viewer of the building's proximity to Scarborough's iconic beaches and all the fun activities that can be enjoyed at the beach. By using monsters as the characters she was able to inject more colour and imagination into the scenes.
Susan Respinger's monsters were originally created to represent people without specifying any particular gender or race. Monsters also have the added bonus of being able to interact in any scene in a unique, fun and imaginative way.
