Stirling Leisure – Dianella Community Centre was opened as the Dianella Community Recreation Centre in March 1977 by then Mayor Alma Venville. 100 people attended the opening ceremony.
The centre cost $184,713 to build.
Description
Stirling Leisure – Dianella Community Centre is located in Kerry Street, just behind the Stirling Libraries - Dianella and the shopping centre.
The Community hall contains a non-commercial kitchen with a fridge, servery, microwave, stove and oven and hot water urn with a loading bay adjacent to the kitchen. It has a 162m2 parquet floor, air conditioning with heating and cooling, audio equipment and a piano.
