John Horton said "I took the photograph. We purchased a state house when we first married, and the photograph was taken directly outside our home. It is as close to the original as you will get because I digitised all my old 35mm film years ago. Finnerty Street at the time we moved there was a limestone track covered at night with hundreds of frogs. I note in the image that the road has been bituminised, and we have planted a lawn so it would have been a couple of years after we moved in."
