Margaret Feilman was an architect and the first female town planner in Perth, becoming the first female cadet in the Public Works Department in Western Australia in 1938 and completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Western Australian in 1943.
Feilman was a founding member of the National Trust of Western Australia and worked tirelessly for heritage and conservation.
Margaret Feilman was involved in the initial designs of the Karrinyup Shopping Centre and St Mary's School, in the City of Stirling.
