 In the foreground is the patriarch of the Okley family - Alfred James Okley who was born in a house in DSt Georges Terrace in 1835 and settled in the Carine district at the age of 21. He died aged 93. J.M Okely's son is fifth from the left and his daughter Lola (Mrs Hall) is beside him.
