Judith Forrest is an English born Western Australian artist, who arrived here from the Eastern States in 1981. She holds a Fine Art degree from the University of London and has since been practising in WA as an art lecturer, administrator and acting head of Claremont School of Art & Design. She has exhibited her works in numerous local galleries and has been awarded many public art commissions in WA, in particular ‘Unfolding Lives’ - a memorial to the Forgotten Australian Child Migrants outside Boorla Bardip Museum
An substantial survey exhibition celebrating the culmination of 50 years of Judith’s art practice was presented at TAFE Gallery, Perth in July 2026.
