Nollamara Primary School was constructed in 1956 to cater for the growing demand for education in the rapidly developing suburb and is a good example of a typical Post-War government school building. It is a complex of buildings laid out in a traditional U-form around a quadrangle. The original buildings are constructed of brick, rendered and painted above window sill height with a hipped, tile roof.
The school's Intensive English Centre was later established in 2005.
