The Scouting movement began in Australia in 1908. The Tuart Hill Yokine Scout group is part of Scouts Australia, WA branch, one of the largest youth development organisations in Australia. They started in 1949.
The Tuart Hill Yokine Scout Hall opened in 1957 and was recognised with a history and heritage award in 2022.
