In March of 1959, the name was changed to “Wembley Downs Primary School” with free milk for all students. The inaugural P&C meeting happened and soon the power and lighting was connected.
In June of 1959, the name “Wembley Downs School” was put up on brickwork in front of school, and by September the telephone was connected.
