Westminster Junior Primary School and Westminster Primary Schools proudly served the Westminster community from 1958. In 2021 the two schools amalgamated, and the newly formed Westminster Primary School opened its doors to students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Westminster Primary School and Junior Primary School occupy almost the entirety of the block bounded by Marloo, Medbury and Ungaroo Roads. The northern portion of this site is known as Westminster Primary School, while the southern portion contains the Westminster Junior Primary School buildings. The place is representative of a primary school built in the Perth metropolitan area during a period of post WWII reconstruction and rapid population growth. The place is associated with the development of suburbs by the State Housing Commission to meet demand for housing and infrastructure in the post-World War II period.
