Osborne Park Agricultural Show

The first Osborne Park Show was held in 1914, but the event was abandoned the following year due to the outbreak of war and drought problems. In the following years the organisers moved the show date to December to avoid the severe summer heat affecting crops and animals.

The origins of this popular community event go back to the formation of the Osborne Park Agricultural Society in 1910. One of the society's first tasks was to establish the annual agricultural show and volunteers started clearing land for it on what is now Robinson Reserve in 1913.
