ContributorArtLast nameFarmerFirst namePeter John BiographyLeading Nyoongar and Balga-based artist, Peter Farmer, is inspired by the Dreaming stories of his mother’s and father’s ancestral lands of the Whadjuk, Minang, Wilman and Wardandi peoples. Peter has worked on many large-scale public art commissions and his designs have featured on the AFL Indigenous Guernsey for the West Coast Eagles team and a couture shoe for Jimmy Choo (held by the WA Museum). His paintings have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Australia and internationally and are also represented in the collections of Edith Cowan University and Government House Western Australia.
