Mr James Broun Roe was born on 11 May 1833 in Perth, Western Australia. On 29 November 1866, he married Alice Stone in Perth, and together they had six children over 16 years.
Mr. Roe was a founding member of the Perth Road Board in 1871.
He passed away on 9 February 1907 in Perth, Western Australia, at the age of 73.
