The Blink Photographic Awards were a biennial competition held by the City of Stirling to showcase local photographers.
The 2020 Blink Photography Awards were presented in an online competition format due to COVID restrictions at the time. Entrants were asked to respond to the theme, ‘The world can change in the blink of an eye. When it does, we learn about ourselves and what we truly value’. The exhibition, judging and and public voting took place from 12 – 30 November 2020.
In 2018 the Osborne Community Hub was the venue for the awards, with over 140 entries by local photographers showcased in the exhibition.
The Blink Photographic Awards 2016 were held in the Bob Daniel Community Centre and the Inglewood Library. The Stirling History Collection team conducted oral history interviews and a photograph conservation workshop.
In 2014 the awards were held in the area outside the Karrinyup Shopping Centre and the Karrinyup Library.
