Little Carine Swamp in 1992 photograph 2

The donor remembers at this time there was always plenty of water and wildlife. Now this swamp (2018) dries up completely in summer. The beautiful water birds which included dozens of Swans, Black ducks, gees, Sacred Ibis, Mane Ducks, Australian Shelducks, Bluebilled ducks, Musk ducks, Pelicans, Egrets, Swamphens and Eurasian Coots..........they have all gone.
