Emily Jane Anderson was the daughter of Thomas and Jane Eliza Anderson. Emily married Geroge Hamersley on the 2nd of November, 1880. Together they had ten children, Edward William Douglas, Frederick Charles Forrester, Eulalia Margaret, Flora Elvire, Fredericka Louise, Astley Bertram Cornelius, Miriam Enid, George Samuel, Edward Bevan Hugh and Walter Thomas Ulrich.
