Private James Greig Smith (AKA James Greig Law-Smith)

Jim enrolled on 30 January 1916 after putting his age up from 17 to 20 years. He was employed as a tailor and living in Boulder, Western Australia. He became part of the 44th Battalion and embarked from Fremantle on 6 June 1916. He was killed in action on 4 October 1917 when his battalion was fighting in a battle at Broodseinde Ridge, Belgium.
