Albany Bell owned and operated eleven tearooms in the Metropolitan area and an additional three in Kalgoorlie. H purchased the old Pine Apple Estate in Mount Lawley and built a factory in which cakes, pastries and icecreams were created for sale within the tearooms.
The residence at 89-96 Guildford Road, Mount Lawley was home to his 9 children.
