Albany Bell is known for having the greatest impact upon community life, out of all the 20th Century employers. Mr Bell was a well know businessman of the Perth region in his time. Most of his success is due to the chain of tearooms he owned, eleven in the Metropolitan area and three in Kalgoorlie. In 1909 he built a factory that would product foodstuffs required for his tearooms. Mr Bell also lived on this property with his family of 9 children.
