The commercial game of 'Hammer Peg' was designed by British toy maker Hilary 'Harry' Fisher Page (1904-1957), and produced by Kiddicraft, England during the 1960s.
This toy was designed to help children to develop their cognitive and motor skills, and to encourage creativity and open-ended play. Children would take the wooden hammer and hit the pegs through the holes in the frame.
