Peace Seats by Anne Neil and Steve Tepper

Artists Anne Neil and Steve Tepper turned their thoughts to the early immigrants of the Osborne Park area when seeking inspiration for the design of the furniture. The shape of the seats is reminiscent of the many olive trees planted by early settlers in the area. The trees are a symbolic reference and gesture of peace, a fitting theme for this community centre entrance. The Peace Seats are located in the courtyard at the Osborne Park Community Centre
