Damien Goerke’s artwork, Primary, represents a significant new direction in his life and artistic practice. After years of living with a heart condition and associated health challenges, a successful operation gave him the opportunity to restart creatively. This work captures a powerful sense of artistic release as he began to explore new ideas, mediums and colour in his art.
