Shotgun Through Scarborough by Annette Peterson

Annette's digital work features a video animation of 77 individual oil paintings that have been filmed consecutively. The Scarborough foreshore appears both familiar and strange in this animated archive. It is the result of a unique combination of the slow genre of traditional oil painting combined with the speed of animation. Through this transformation the Everyday becomes magical.
