Artist Statement: I grew up oceanside and fell in love with clever coastal vegetation. I marvel at the simple symbiotic relationship of Peasholm's (our favourite beach) dunes and the Hairy Spinifex - a weed to many but I love its stabilising and otherworldly presence. I made many tiny decisions to hopefully showcase its skills beauty and languid character. - Shenade Unicomb
