Weaving with Porcelain by Valerie Schoenjahn

As part of a series of weaving studies this work focuses on the detailing of the connections transitions and thresholds. The structure and shape of the raffia-weave directly responds to the inserted beads; the form is a result not a pre-determined goal discussing themes of balance pattern and proportion.
