An original Crown Grant of 1000 acres with frontage to the Swan River.
It was given and granted to Robert Thomson by the Governor of the Colony, Sir James Stirling, on the 20th September 1838 in the reign of Queen Victoria.
Robert Thomson, born 1806, arrived in the Colony of Western Australia on the 19th October 1829 aboard the Atwick from Kent, England.
Robert Thomson surrendered the grant and it was given to William Henry Drake by the then Governor of the Colony, John Hutt Esquire, on the 13th December 1842.
W.H Drake, born 1812, arrived in the Colony on the 28th December 1831 aboard the Egyptian.
