An original Crown Grant of 968 acres with frontage to the Swan River.
It was given and granted to Mary Hutton by the Governor of the Colony, John Hutt Esquire, on the 5th March 1844 in the reign of Queen Victoria. Mary Hutton, born 1795, widow of Marmaduke Hutton, arrived in the Colony of Western Australia on the 3rd February 1830 aboard the Tranby from Yorkshire, England.
