An original Crown Grant of 720 acres with frontage to the Swan River.
It was given and granted to Charles Bourne by the Governor of the Colony John Hutt Esquire on the 29th December 1840 in the reign of Queen Victoria. Charles Bourne, born 1805, arrived in the Colony of Western Australia on the 20th January 1830 aboard the Minstrel from Staffordshire, England.
