Mount Lawley Society

The Mount Lawley Society was founded in 1977, and focuses on promoting heritage and history in the Mount Lawley, Inglewood and Menora areas.

Projects they have worked on include the Mount Lawley Heritage Walk plaques, in conjunction with the City of Stirling, research into the ANZACs who lived in the Mount Lawley Society, finding out how many soldiers lived in Mount Lawley from 1914 to 1918, and campaigning for the protection and listing of heritage houses

Barrie Baker was a long term member and historian for the Society.
