Mettam's Pool

A calm water rock pool protected by a surrounding reef. Associated with Frank Mettam who removed reef and rocks to create a sheltered swimming place. Previously called Lennard's Pool, after local residents the Barrett-Lennard family. It was renamed in the 1940s.

Mettam's Pool is situated off West Coast Drive, north of Trigg Beach, and is known for its shallow depth (less than two meters) and is popular for swimming and snorkelling. The pool is a part of Marmion Marine Park.
