Heritage site marker Osborne Park Agricultural hall

In 1910 the residents of the growing agricultural area of Osborne Park saw the need for an Agricultural Hall and an Agricultural Society to provide them with a place to hold annual agricultural shows and obtain the latest farming information. Built in 1912 by Messrs Clark and Fergus at a cost of £6000, the hall was mainly subscribed to by local residents. Demolished in 1962, it was rebuilt in 1964 and extended and refurbished in 1987.
