ContributorCommunity HistoryDescriptionKarrinyup Library officially opened on Thursday, 19 September 1974. The Architects were Cameron, Chisholm and Nicol, who recently celebrated 140 years of practice, 1884-2024. It was originally known as the Karrinyup Cultural Centre Library. Scarborough library had opened December 1958. The Osborne Central Library opened in 1960 and Mount Lawley/Inglewood Library opened 1963. Karrinyup Shopping Centre opened in September 1973, with planning starting in 1971.
