People with disability

In July 2026 the City of Stirling celebrated the launch of the City's Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) 2026 – 2031. The DAIP provides a whole-of-organisation framework focused on practical action and continuous improvement, helping to create a more inclusive and accessible City for everyone.

The development of this plan began in 2025 with a review of the previous Access and Inclusion Plan 2021–2025. This included the “Everyone Belongs” campaign, which captured community stories about belonging, alongside a dedicated engagement process that invited people with disability and the wider community to share their priorities for the future.

The 30th November is International Day of People with Disability and is celebrated by the City of Stirling.
