The Living Landscape by Dan iley

Inspired by the rich biodiversity of Star Swamp Reserve, this artwork series celebrates the often-overlooked invertebrates and small creatures that play a vital role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem. Interwoven with these fauna are representations of native flora and distinctive leaf forms found throughout the surrounding bushland, highlighting the intricate connections between species and their environment. Together, the carvings offer a tribute to the diversity, resilience and beauty of this unique natural landscape.
