Named after Antonio Scarfo, the owner of the market garden that was previously located on lot 8 Odin Road, Gwelup.
It was formerly called the Stirling Gardens Estate Reserve but was renamed Antonio Scarfo Reserve on 23 January 1996.
The reserve is located, in part, where the Odin drive-in theatre was situated and the cinema's screen was once located on the southern edge (next to the playground) of this reserve. The drive-in was closed in 1988 and was demolished by 1989.
