Dr Andres (Andy) Slaven Luketina was born on the 4 September 1932 in Tucepi, Split-Dalmantia, Croatia. Dr Luketina lived in Doubleview and worked as a Medical Practitioner. He was married and had three children. Mr Luketina was a councillor for the Scarborough Ward, 1972-1975 and then from 1977-1980. During that time he was Mayor of City of Stirling from 1977-1979. He passed away on 24 July 1980, at the age of 48. Luketina Reserve was gazetted the following year on the 13 November 1981 by the City of Stirling and the reserve was developed between 1974-1977
