David Carson is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Fremantle, Western Australia. His practice is driven by a deep interest in mutability — the slow, inexorable passage of time, its erosions and accretions, and the marks it leaves on both architecture and landscape.
Carson’s work has been exhibited internationally and extensively throughout Western Australia. His collaborations with electronic musicians and composers, including Colin Potter, have seen his moving image works presented in diverse formats — from digital public screens to immersive audio-visual performances and international video festivals.
