These cubicles were built in the 1930s and were available for hire by the day or the week. 12 feet square, they contained a sink and no other facilities. People using the cubicles for their holiday home had to collect water from an outside tap. There was one tap for four cubicles. The ladies ablution block was at one end of the block, and gents at the other end.
