Robert Thomson Robinson and Samuel Copley had a real estate business. They financed the first Mount Lawley subdivision. Mr Robinson was a QC who began practice in Albany. In 1898 he and two partners took over a law firm in Perth.
Robert Robinson was a member of the Perth Road Board and also the Treasurer of WA.
Robinson's Mount Lawley house was Killowen, now part of Mercy Hospital.
