Margaret Taylor winner of the Miss Scarborough competition, with two other contestants at Scarborough Beach 1956

The photograph was submitted to the 2018 History and Heritage Awards with the following text:

My mum Margaret Taylor won Miss Scarborough in 1956. She went down to Scarborough Beach with some friends, one friend planned to enter. Mum got talked into entering herself and she won! She then came 2nd, I believe in the Miss Western Australia competition the same year.
