The ECU Churchlands campus was demolished starting in 2009. The campus closed in 2008 and the site was redeveloped as the Churchlands Green residential subdivision. Before being closed, the campus had served as the Churchlands Teachers College (1972-1981), the Churchlands campus of the Western Australian College of Advanced Education (1982-1990), and finally the ECU Churchlands campus (1991-2008)
