This memorial was placed by the Perth Road Board at Trigg Beach, shortly after the event close to the location where the tragedy occurred. After several decades it was eventually destroyed by the weather. The City of Stirling has (2018) installed a new plaque that relates this story. This was done through consultation with the Floyd family.TypePlaqueCollectionPlaques and heritage markers collectionDate created2018Materialsbronze, metal alloy, limestoneHistorical details
