Local Life by Annie Q Medley and MosaicArt

Local flora and fauna have been brought to life in this colourful, eye-catching mosaic created by local school children in collaboration with professional artists. A community arts grant (CANWA) enabled the Dianella Library and local primary school students to create a stunning community mosaic art installation for the entrance walkway to the Library. The artwork was designed by local artist Annie Q Medley, and features local flora and fauna from the Dianella area. Mosaic artists Chris James and Renee Martin, from MosaicArt, worked with Year 6 students from Our Lady’s Assumption Primary School to bring the design to fruition. Nearly all of the materials were donated by local businesses.
