Pastor Eric was born in Congo, Kinshasa in the town of Bukavu. He left the Congo in 2008, as a result of the war and went to Uganda, before eventually relocating to Perth, Western Australia. Pastor Eric and his wife Celine went to the Ishar Multicultural Women's Health Services community group in Mirrabooka, on the advice of Councillor Creado, gaining knowledge and information, before starting up the Abigail Mama's not for profit community group that focuses on empowering women.
