Site of Muller’s Butcher Shop, run by Mrs Muller in the early 1900s. Mrs Muller and her detective husband also owned the adjacent ‘Star Hall’, a popular place for picture shows and community gatherings. Adjacent to ‘Star Hall’ were the summer picture gardens. ‘Star Hall’ was later named the ‘Seaview’ and continued operating as a picture theatre until 1960.
