Ariel Tourist Trophy race through North Beach

Patriotic Funds to Benefit.

The annual North Beach Tourist Trophy race will be conducted by the Ariel Motor Cycle Club over the North Beach-Waterman's Bay circuit on October 26. This year the race will be run to raise funds for the Sportsmen's Organising CounciL It will consist of two races, a 15-lap junior handicap for machines up to 350 c.c. capacity, and a senior handicap and open championship of 25 laps. Entries will close at 12.30 p.m. on October 16 and late entries at double fees will be received up to 12.30 p.m. on October 19. Competitors must comply with the West Australian Motor Cycling Association rules and they will be required to supply their own numbers, one to be fixed across the front forks and one on

the right hand side of the machine at the rear. No practice will be allowed this year and competitors will start the race with dead motors. The roads will be closed at 2.45 p.m. on the day of the race.
