Site of the limestone cottage "Bluebeard Farm". Built in the mid 1800s by John Hughes, a former Irish convict of Fremantle prison. He obtained the earliest land grant in the Scarborough area after receiving his conditional pardon. One of the first in the vicinity, the cottage stood here until it's demolition in the 1960s.
