Heritage site marker for St Michaels chapel

The gothic-styled Chapel of St Michael and All Angels was constructed in 1926 by W. H. Bell to a design by Eales and Cohen Architects. Built for the Community of the Sisters of the Church, the building is brick with a tiled gable roof behind a masonry parapet. The chapel was restored during the 1990s thanks to efforts of the Old Girl’s Association. The Perth College community continues to use the building as a chapel and it contributes to the community’s sense of place. The building is an integral component of the Mt Lawley Heritage Protection Area.
